Guangzhou Grain Group is a wholly state-owned grain enterprise under Lingnan Commercial Travel Group. It is an important carrier for the municipal government to fulfill the 'rice bag' responsibility and ensure food security, a key supplier of grain and oil products in Guangzhou, a leading enterprise in Guangdong Province's grain industry, and one of the first nationally recognized grain emergency support enterprises. Its main business includes bulk grain and oil trade, grain and oil food processing, retail, import and export, and other comprehensive operations, undertaking tasks such as municipal grain reserves, military grain supply, and grain emergency supply. The Group has established a 'North-South+' grain storage facility layout, building the Guangzhou Grain Reserve and Processing Center in Nansha, which leads the region in comprehensive scale in South China, integrating grain storage, processing, trade, inspection, and logistics, with a total grain storage capacity of nearly 600,000 tons across silos, squat silos, and mixed silos, making it one of the three '4A-grade grain depots' in Guangdong Province. It is fully promoting the construction of the Guangzhou Grain and Oil Food Industrial Park (Guangqing Park) project, which integrates grain and oil reserves, grain and oil food processing, grain transit logistics, central kitchen, grain electronic trading, grain safety science education, and agricultural eco-tourism. It has built a high-quality grain procurement channel network, importing nearly 400,000 tons of high-quality raw grain annually from countries such as the United States, Canada, and Australia, and has established long-term stable strategic cooperative relationships with over 30 domestic regional grain leading enterprises, including COFCO Group. Through industry-university-research cooperation with universities, it has obtained over 40 patent authorizations, and its 'special wheat flour' enterprise standard has been selected for the national grain and oil product enterprise standard list, producing nearly 200 varieties of grain and oil products. It has built a nationwide marketing system with wide regional coverage and strong distribution capabilities, cooperating with over 1,000 distributors and having more than 10,000 sales terminal outlets. The 8-store convenience stores scattered throughout the city serve as an important carrier for the Guangzhou municipal government's grain macro-control and emergency supply.
