Guangdong Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Guangdong Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, founded in 1944, is a large Grade III Level A maternal and child health care institution directly under the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission. It has always adhered to social public welfare and industry leadership. After more than 70 years of development, it has become a large Grade III Level A hospital integrating health care, medical treatment, teaching, research, training, and technical guidance. In 2013, with the approval of the superior competent department, it was additionally authorized to use the names of Guangdong Provincial Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital and Guangdong Provincial Children's Hospital. Currently, it is a teaching hospital for more than 10 provincial and ministerial universities, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Wuhan University, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, and Guangzhou Medical University, and has established a strategic cooperative partnership with Boston Children's Hospital of Harvard Medical School. The hospital has four campuses (Panyu, Yuexiu, Tianhe, and Qingyuan) and one branch institution - Guangdong Cord Blood Bank. It covers a total area of 282 mu, with a building area of 219,600 square meters.
