It mainly supplies metal stamping parts and welded parts to Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Company, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company. In June 2003, the board of directors, looking to the future, made a major business decision that changed Dongjiang's future and destiny: to leverage the unique industry advantage of the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone and enter the auto supporting field. In March 2004, the company won its first battle and obtained the development rights for 5 products for Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company's Peugeot-Triumph vehicles. In 2005, the company's first batch of auto supporting products began mass supply. Its supply performance was praised by customers, and its market reputation rose significantly. Since then, the company's auto product development entered a fast track, increasing at an average annual rate of more than 100%. In June 2007, the company successfully bid for the industrial plant construction land of Plot 48M in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, seizing the opportunity for rapid development. In December 2010, the company, with outstanding performance in quality, delivery, cost, and other aspects, won the title of "Excellent Supplier" from Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company. In October 2011, in order to meet the needs of the company's business development, the company officially changed its name to "Wuhan Huazi Dongjiang Auto Parts Co., Ltd." The company entered a new period of development. In December 2011, the company won the title of "Excellent Supplier" from Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company. At present, the company has three branches: Xuefeng Branch, Wangjiazui Branch, and Qianhang Branch. On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the company will launch the investment plan for its fourth branch—Phoenix Branch. The project has been approved by the development zone government and will soon start: From 2012 to 2015, it plans to invest more than 300 million yuan, purchase 60 mu of new land, and build more than 27,000 square meters of modern factory buildings; introduce industry-leading automated stamping and welding production equipment, including: 2500T multi-station equipment suitable for joint production of multiple sets of molds, 1250T stamping equipment suitable for continuous die production, dual-point 400T stamping production lines suitable for single-process die production, automatic feeders, robotic arms, and other advanced auxiliary equipment matched with stamping equipment; advanced welding robot equipment. The outstanding feature of the new factory equipment is its ability to adapt to the production needs of relatively complex processes, and its high level of automation. Thus, in terms of production efficiency, product quality stability, labor cost control, and other aspects, it can better adapt to the needs of the company's future development and support the development of the company's products in the direction of higher technical content and higher added value. The new factory is planned to be put into production in the second half of 2013. By then, the company will form a group operation pattern with one headquarters and four production branches, and the enterprise scale and management level will step up to a new level.
