It is a large state-owned high-tech enterprise specializing in aviation transportation and tourism information services, and a central enterprise under the administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, with stock code 00696.HK. As a market-leading information technology and business service provider for the aviation transportation and tourism industry, TravelSky is the world's third-largest GDS (Global Distribution System) provider, owns the world's largest BSP data processing center, and is hailed by the industry and media as "the nerve of healthy civil aviation operations." The information systems it operates are listed as one of the eight key systems supervised by the State Council. Headquartered in Beijing, TravelSky has nearly 60 subsidiaries and non-controlling companies across the country and around the world.
Chongqing Branch of TravelSky Technology Limited (i.e., Chongqing R&D Center, hereinafter referred to as the "Center") was established in 2009 and is an important part of TravelSky's modern R&D system. It currently has more than 630 employees, of whom over 96% are professional technical personnel, with an average age of 30. The Center upholds the business philosophy of "highly collaborative and strictly quality-controlled software delivery," adheres to the talent philosophy of "dare to create, value quality, shoulder responsibility, love exploration," and is committed to building itself into "a pacesetter in the field of TravelSky information services and a pioneer of local regional software technology."
The Center mainly undertakes software product R&D tasks for civil aviation customers such as airlines, airports, and agents. It actively participates in the construction of TravelSky's modern R&D system, adheres to the path of professional development, has passed CMMI V3.0 L5 certification, and builds a service-oriented and data-driven platform-based R&D model to achieve engineered, standardized, and digitally intelligent software R&D. Guided by the principles of completeness, collaboration, security, and forward-lookingness, the Center builds an end-to-end, full-chain technology stack covering enterprise application development, big data, cloud computing, mobile development, automated testing, security testing, performance testing, user experience, and visual design, and actively explores applications in new-generation information technology directions such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, privacy computing, and virtual reality.
The Center adheres to a technology orientation, cultivates a technical culture of "innovation, pragmatism, openness, and sharing," establishes a career development channel centered on professional technology, builds a technical innovation incentive mechanism, encourages autonomy of professional organizations, builds technical communities, guides mass innovation, and has formed major innovation achievements such as a self-controllable container cloud platform, blockchain platform, and data application platform, with a total of 51 patent applications.
