石家庄经济职业学院始建于上世纪90年代，是经河北省人民政府、教育部批准的普通高等院校，旨在为现代社会培养经济管理领域高素质高技能型专门人才，独立颁发国家普通高等学历文凭。经过数十年发展，学院已发展成占地面积2000多亩，在校生15000余人，拥有石家庄市三简路16号中职校区、正定常山西路47号高职校区、滹沱河新校区、过渡校区四个校区的综合性高校。
学院学科齐全、结构合理，现有系部经济管理系、护理系、信息工程系、会计系、汽车机电系、交通管理系、艺术系、幼儿教育系等八个系，以及中专部、国际交流中心、成人职教中心。
