Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is the only company in Shijiazhuang City and even Hebei Province engaged in rail transit construction, operation, and management. The Company was established on April 14, 2010, and primarily undertakes the construction of Shijiazhuang rail transit projects and metro operation management. The rail transit network plan of Shijiazhuang mainly reflects a layout of "large radial, small grid" composed of 6 lines, including 3 backbone lines and 3 auxiliary lines, with a total network length of 241.7 kilometers. The first phase construction includes Phase I projects of Rail Transit Lines 1, 2, and 3. According to the requirements of the "Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Construction Plan (2012-2020)" approved by the State Council, the total construction line length is 59.6 kilometers, with 52 stations (all underground), and a total investment of 42.19 billion yuan. On December 31, 2015, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the addition of Phase II projects of Line 1 and Line 3, with a line length of 20.8 kilometers. By then, the rail transit construction mileage approved by the state for our city had reached 80.4 kilometers, with a total investment of 55.39 billion yuan, and the total approved investment based on preliminary design budget was 60.2 billion yuan. It has established an engineering construction management system based on "partial self-construction + investment and financing," achieving remarkable results.
