Wuhan Urban Construction Investment and Development Group Co., Ltd. was established in August 1997 and reorganized and expanded in July 2002. It is the main force in Wuhan's urban construction and operation and the main platform for improving the quality of a better life. The company's daily water supply capacity reaches 4.9 million tons, ranking fifth in the country. The average daily sewage treatment capacity is 3.21 million tons, serving an area of more than 600 square kilometers. It is responsible for two-thirds of Wuhan's natural gas supply, with nearly 3 million natural gas users and an annual gas supply of about 2 billion cubic meters. It has built the Anshan Gas Storage with a storage capacity of 30 million cubic meters (gaseous) to ensure the safety of urban public services. The scale of its comprehensive real estate business ranks among the top municipal enterprises. It has built and operates the Wuhan International Expo Center and Wuhan International Conference Center, and has hosted more than 2,000 exhibitions. It manages and maintains "fifteen bridges and one tunnel", with an operation scale ranking among the top in the country. The Yangtze River Tunnel operation and maintenance experience and management services have been exported across provinces. It manages 18,000 roadside parking spaces and operates more than 7,500 public parking spaces.
