Lianbao (Hefei) Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Lianbao Technology), founded in 2011, is a subsidiary of Lenovo Group, with its headquarters located in the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area, Anhui Province, covering an area of 457 mu. It has established four major R&D bases in Hefei, Taipei, Shenzhen, and Kunshan.
Since its establishment, Lianbao Technology has continuously strengthened its four core capabilities: innovative R&D, intelligent manufacturing, agile supply, and excellent quality. Its main business lines cover personal computers, servers, smart devices, and solutions. It has been recognized as a China Export Quality and Safety Demonstration Enterprise, a National Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Pilot Enterprise, a National Industrial Design Center, a National Green Factory, and a National Excellent-level Intelligent Factory. In January 2023, it received the highest honor in the global intelligent manufacturing field, the "Lighthouse Factory" certification.
Among these, the annual production capacity of personal computers reaches 40 million units, with cumulative shipments exceeding 300 million units. Its products are sold in 126 countries and regions worldwide. One out of every eight laptops sold globally is produced by Lianbao, making it the world's largest PC equipment R&D and manufacturing base of Lenovo Group. In terms of AIPC development, Lianbao Technology has made an early layout. To date, it has launched over a hundred AIPC models and has achieved positive results in multimodal and multi-platform development such as ARM. Innovative products like rollable screens and transparent screens have won multiple awards at global exhibitions such as CES and MWC, leading the evolution of PC industry product forms and functions.
In the server business, leveraging Lenovo Group's technological, resource, and market advantages, the company has maintained strong double-digit growth in both shipments and revenue. At the same time, it focuses on expanding into other markets and has established production and design cooperation with leading customers globally and domestically.
As the pioneering segment of Lianbao Technology's second growth curve, the smart devices and solutions business covers multiple business formats, including AI solutions and intelligent terminal products, intelligent manufacturing solutions, manufacturing service business, and customization services, and possesses overseas fixture delivery capabilities. In 2024, NVIDIA's Thor platform L4 autonomous driving domain controller AD1 was successfully rolled off the production line at Lianbao Technology, helping Lenovo become one of the world's first automotive Tier 1 suppliers to power this platform. The hexapod robot, jointly developed by the company and Lenovo Group's Shanghai Research Institute, has also been officially put into production at Lianbao Technology. It is being applied first to power inspection and is expected to enter more application scenarios.
As a "chain leader" enterprise in the electronic information industry, Lianbao Technology serves the world while taking root locally. It has over 500 global supplier partners and has attracted more than 70 suppliers to settle in Anhui, initially building a 4-hour industrial circle. It ranks as Hefei's first enterprise with revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan and Anhui's first foreign trade enterprise exceeding 10 billion US dollars. For five consecutive years, both revenue and output value have exceeded 100 billion yuan, and it has been ranked first among Anhui's top 100 private enterprises for five consecutive years.
While diversifying its business, Lianbao Technology has always remained true to its original mission and strives to fulfill its social responsibilities. Over the years, Lianbao Technology has collaborated with upstream and downstream supply chain enterprises to achieve a cumulative carbon reduction of nearly 300,000 tons, with ThinkPad products achieving 100% plastic-free packaging.
