Beijing Rail Transit Operation Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Rail Operation Company"), established in April 2016, is a directly managed second-level subsidiary of Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. and the third rail transit operator in Beijing approved by the municipal government. The company's main business covers rail transit passenger transport services, vehicle and equipment maintenance services, technology research and development, consulting and training, advertising, civil communications, and other sectors. Currently, Beijing Rail Operation Company operates the Yanfang Line, Beijing Daxing International Airport Express, and Metro Line 19 of Beijing rail transit, and has obtained the operation rights for Beijing Rail Transit Line 22 (Pinggu Line) and the entrusted operation rights for the Jingxiong Express Line.

Deepening engagement in the rail transit industry to achieve high-level operation of three lines

The Yanfang Line commenced initial operation on December 30, 2017, transitioned to formal operation on April 14, 2019, achieved the highest level (GoA4) of fully automatic operation on December 19, 2019, and successfully realized unattended train operation (UTO mode) with fully automatic operation on June 21, 2021. The Daxing Airport Express commenced initial operation on September 26, 2019, and on September 26, 2020, became the only rail transit line in Beijing currently achieving mixed operation of 8-car and 4-car metro trains; on June 28, 2021, it successfully realized full-function operation of the Fully Automatic Operation system (FAO). Metro Line 19 commenced initial operation on December 31, 2021, using Type A 8-car trains, with a maximum operating speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour.

Based on the Yanfang Line, Daxing Airport Express, and Line 19, Beijing Rail Operation Company will accumulate operational management experience for fully automatic lines, continuously improve operational management concepts, enhance operational management service levels, and possess the capability to conduct operational management of multiple fully automatic lines.

Building an intelligent platform for equipment and facilities to create a smart operation and maintenance system

Beijing Rail Operation Company regards informatization construction as an important corporate development strategy, aiming to improve production and management efficiency, reduce labor intensity and skill requirements, cover all operational production scenarios and maintenance management requirements, and carry out overall planning of the operation and maintenance platform.

Since 2016, the company has independently developed an operation and maintenance management system. After two phases of iterative optimization, it has currently completed construction of ten major business modules, including fault repair management, planned maintenance management, personnel management, work area management, and special project management, with 41 management items and 125 functional designs, achieving electronization of paper forms, digitization of equipment information and maintenance information, and automation of maintenance plan compilation and data statistics. In addition, it utilizes systems such as overhead contact line safety detection and monitoring systems and track inspection systems for comprehensive equipment diagnosis, making equipment status analysis intelligent. It has also established mobile interconnectivity to complete operation and maintenance tasks through mobile terminals, breaking through fixed work limitations and improving work efficiency.

Leveraging high-level operational advantages to establish a distinctive consulting business system

Taking the opportunity of the construction and operation of the Yanfang Line, the first domestically developed fully automatic operation line in China, Beijing Rail Operation Company has actively expanded the fully automatic operation consulting market since 2018, and has successively obtained operation consulting projects in Jinan, Zhengzhou, Xiamen, Xi'an, and other places.

Beijing Rail Operation Company has successfully established an internal consulting management system, assembled a full-disciplinary consulting team, and formed standardized operation consulting products. Combining its own experience and owner needs, the company provides market-oriented, full-process, modular, and menu-style fully automatic consulting service solutions from multiple aspects, including project positioning and objectives, operational organization structure and human resource allocation, fully automatic safety risk identification and prevention, fully automatic personnel training, trial operation plans and operational guarantees.
