It has successively been awarded the title of "Guangdong Province Contract-Honoring and Credit-Worthy Enterprise" for 20 consecutive years; rated as an A-level taxpayer for tax credit; recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise; and has received numerous honors including the National Quality Engineering Silver Award, Guangdong Province Construction Engineering Quality Award, the Gold Craftsman Award, the Guangzhou City Construction Engineering Quality Wuyang Cup Award, and the Excellent Model Project Award. It has obtained dozens of engineering awards, patents, and construction methods. Zhongzhao Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. also serves as the executive vice president unit of the Guangdong Province Building Decoration Materials Industry Association, the vice president unit of the Guangzhou Construction Industry Federation, an honorary unit for Guangdong Province user-satisfied engineering, and a unit with outstanding contributions to the construction of the Guangzhou Asian Games projects.
Zhongzhao Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. originated from Guangzhou Baiyun Municipal Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., founded on January 6, 1984, originally a collective enterprise, and was restructured with national approval on December 18, 2007. On April 1, 2013, through equity restructuring and strategic repositioning of corporate development, Zhongzhao Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was established, with registered capital increased to 127 million RMB. It owns 3 construction engineering companies, 2 material trading companies, 2 labor service companies, and earthwork and transportation companies. The group is based in Guangzhou and radiates to multiple core cities across the province.
Since its establishment, the group has mainly undertaken urban roads and bridges, rainwater and sewage treatment, housing construction, as well as various large-scale public infrastructure construction and supporting projects. Over 36 years, it has completed more than 1,000 construction projects. Representative projects include the resettlement area construction project for the noise control zone of the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport expansion project, the construction project for the Guangzhou Yueyouyan New Material Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park, the Panyu Xinzao affordable housing project, the second phase BOT concession project for the sewage treatment plant of the Sihui Nanjiang Industrial Park in Zhaoqing, and the underground comprehensive pipe gallery project of the Tianhe Smart New City.
To date, the group has a management team of over 1,000 personnel, more than 300 professional engineers, including over 10 cost engineers, over 30 personnel with intermediate and senior professional titles, over 100 builders, and nearly 1,000 sets of construction machinery and equipment.
