In 2009, in accordance with the unified deployment of the Group Company to continuously reorganize engineering design and construction forces, China Textile Industrial Engineering Institute's subordinate China Textile Chemical Fiber Engineering Corporation was transferred to the Group Company's management and renamed "China Kunlun Engineering Company". The assets, liabilities, personnel, and wholly-owned, holding, and participating enterprises of China Textile Industrial Engineering Institute were all transferred to China Kunlun Engineering Company. Daqing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., subordinate to PetroChina Daqing Petrochemical Company, and Liaoyang Branch of China Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd. were wholly incorporated into China Kunlun Engineering Company. China Kunlun Engineering Company is a technology-based state-owned key enterprise and an international engineering company integrating consulting, R&D, design, procurement, construction management, start-up guidance, engineering supervision, general contracting, project management contracting, and technical services. The company holds national-issued qualification certificates for engineering design, engineering survey, engineering consulting, engineering supervision, engineering cost, general contracting, and environmental treatment. It has passed ISO9001 quality system, ISO14001 environmental management system, OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system, and PetroChina HSE management system certifications. It has established an advanced computer network platform and application system, and possesses internationally advanced application software and databases for engineering design, project management, and office automation. It enjoys the foreign trade rights granted by the state. The company currently has over 1,600 employees, including 3 national engineering design masters, 56 experts enjoying government special allowances, 30 professor-level senior engineers, 368 senior engineers, 438 engineers, and 500 personnel with various national registered professional qualifications.
