On August 31, 2017, the "1+1" operating platform of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Connectivity Multimodal Transport Demonstration Project was unveiled. This is the third government-to-government cooperation project between China and Singapore and is located in the core area of the Liangjiang International Logistics Hub (Guoyuan Port area). Duisburg Port of Germany completed an indirect equity investment in our company by the end of 2020, which is expected to form a new channel network pattern of "three hubs" among China, Singapore and Germany, greatly enhancing the connectivity of Chongqing and even the western region with ASEAN countries such as Singapore and European countries such as Germany.
China-Singapore (Chongqing) Multimodal Transport Logistics Development Co., Ltd. was established in February 2018 with a registered capital of 320 million yuan***. The Chinese side holds 55% and the Singaporean side holds 45%. The company focuses on heavy asset investment, integrates surrounding water, rail, air and road transport resources through market-oriented operations, and realizes the functional layout of multimodal transport logistics demonstration operation areas and supporting parks—building the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Multimodal Transport Demonstration Base.
After completion, the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Multimodal Transport Demonstration Base will carry the transfer center function in the "double hub and one center" multimodal transport system of the Guoyuan area, build a micro-circulation system between the base and Yuzui Railway Freight Station and Guoyuan Port, rationally organize the logistics resources in the area, improve logistics supporting functions, and enhance overall transfer efficiency, *ultimately achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement, driving traffic with efficiency and stimulating efficiency with traffic in a virtuous cycle. At the same time, it will strive to promote the formulation of regional investment subsidy policies and encourage enterprises to settle locally. The company will use finance to promote trade, trade to promote logistics, planning consulting and management support, transportation and warehousing guarantees, and service orientation to provide customers with integrated financial, trade and logistics services, and provide a good development environment for the industry.
