SIPG's main business is divided into four major segments: container terminal business, bulk and general cargo terminal business, port logistics business, and port service business. It has formed a port logistics industry chain covering terminal handling, warehousing and storage, shipping, land transport, agency services, and other services. The company has 11 branches and 2 internal institutions in Shanghai, 34 second-level (wholly-owned and holding) subsidiaries, and 22 participating enterprises.
