Hubei Provincial Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1972, formerly known as the "Building Standard Design Station of the Capital Construction Committee of the Hubei Provincial Revolutionary Committee". In 2008, it was wholly transferred to Hubei United Investment Group. As the "main force unit" of the group's urban renewal sector and the core carrier of the "United Investment Think Tank", the company is accelerating its transformation from a traditional design institute to a first-class domestic comprehensive service provider of urban renewal, integrating "planning + design + operation" as a trinity, and creating value-oriented services.

The company has created a series of benchmark projects such as "Weishan 66 Park" and "Xiaoliujiawan Hubei Provincial Real Estate New Development Model Pilot", and has won more than a hundred international and domestic authoritative awards including the Japanese Good Design Award, the American Muse Design Award Gold Award, the French Double-faced God (Janus) Award, the National Top Ten Excellent Cases of Urban Renewal, and the First Prize of National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design, and has been shortlisted in the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) "Science and Technology Reform Demonstration Enterprise" list and the annual "Architecture China TOP30 Brand Influence State-owned Enterprises" ranking.
