Hunan Airlines Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Hunan Airlines") was registered and established on April 16, 2014, and commenced its maiden flight on May 21, 2016. In 2020, it relocated to Changsha, Hunan. The company is primarily engaged in domestic air passenger and cargo transportation. Its main operating base is Changsha Huanghua International Airport, with branches in Yunnan and Jiangsu. The company is committed to integrating into the Changsha four-hour aviation economic circle, with a focus on building three major features: a Hunan local-characteristic airline, an "Internet+" boutique airline, and an "aviation new consumption" airline.
Hunan Airlines operates 16 Airbus A320 family aircraft, all of the A320 series, with an average fleet age of approximately 6 years.
During the 2024 summer travel season, Hunan Airlines operated 42 domestic routes, connecting to 33 domestic cities, and stationed overnight capacity in Changsha, Kunming, Wuxi, and Shenzhen. Among these, it operated 15 routes departing from and arriving at Changsha, including Changsha=Beijing, Changsha=Kunming, Changsha=Wuxi, Changsha=Chengdu Tianfu, Changsha=Xining, Changsha=Jinan, Changsha=Mangshi, Changsha=Lijiang, Changsha=Turpan, Changsha=Fuzhou, and other routes.
