Tianshan Aluminum Group Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002532, stock abbreviation: Tianshan Aluminum) is a listed company on the Small and Medium Enterprise Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company's business covers alumina, anode carbon, power generation, electrolytic aluminum, high-purity aluminum, aluminum deep processing, and other production segments. It is one of the few large-scale enterprises in China with a complete integrated aluminum industry chain advantage in comprehensive aluminum production, manufacturing, and sales.

Tianshan Aluminum takes industrial service to the country as its mission and bravely assumes social responsibilities. To date, the group has paid over 4 billion yuan in taxes, solved employment for nearly 6,000 people including ethnic minorities, greatly stimulated the economic growth of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, effectively maintained local employment and social stability. During major events held by the autonomous region and the Corps, the company has repeatedly received commendations from local government departments for outstanding stability maintenance work.

Tianshan Aluminum's production base for primary aluminum and high-purity aluminum materials is located in Shihezi, Xinjiang. It has an annual production line of 1.2 million tons of primary aluminum, equipped with six 350MW generator units and an annual production line of 300,000 tons of prebaked anodes, and a new annual production line of 60,000 tons of high-purity aluminum. The company has an aluminum processing base in Jiangyin, Jiangsu with an annual output of 50,000 tons, mainly producing aluminum plates, strips, and foils. In Jingxi, Guangxi, it has built a new production line with an annual output of 2.5 million tons of alumina; and in Alar Economic Development Zone, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, it has built a new prebaked anode production line with an annual output of 500,000 tons (300,000 tons in the first phase). After the projects are completed, Tianshan Aluminum will form a complete industrial chain from upstream bauxite, alumina, power generation, anode carbon, to primary aluminum and aluminum deep processing. It can fully utilize Xinjiang's energy advantages and Guangxi's resource advantages. The complete industrial chain layout gives Tianshan Aluminum advantages in raw material costs, supply stability, and quality, enabling it to obtain more industrial added value and improve overall profitability and risk resistance.

As a comprehensive aluminum group with a relatively complete industrial chain, Tianshan Aluminum's production capacity ranks among the top in the country. At the same time, Tianshan Aluminum actively invests in technology research and improvement. Currently, the 460-kiloampere prebaked electrolytic cells, atmospheric pollutant treatment facilities, and wastewater treatment systems used are among the more advanced production and environmental protection technologies in China. The company's technology center has been recognized as an autonomous region-level enterprise technology center and an autonomous region-level technological innovation demonstration enterprise. In December 2015, the company's integrated demonstration project for energy-saving technology to reduce horizontal current in aluminum electrolytic cells was included in the National Torch Plan industrialization demonstration project.

In 2016, the company introduced internationally advanced segregation technology and processes for producing high-purity aluminum, building a 60,000-ton high-purity aluminum project in Shihezi. High-purity aluminum has excellent properties and wide applications. It has better electrical conductivity, ductility, reflectivity, and corrosion resistance than primary aluminum, and is widely used in electronics, aerospace, and other fields. After all projects are fully completed, Tianshan Aluminum will become a high-purity aluminum producer with global technological, scale, and cost advantages, further extending development into high-end materials and providing long-term sustainable competitive advantages.
Tianshan Aluminum's wholly-owned subsidiary, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Eighth Division Tianshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianlv Co., Ltd."), is an enterprise that responded to the national call to support the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and is a key backbone enterprise of the Corps. Tianlv Co., Ltd. was listed in the China Private Enterprises Top 500 for five consecutive years from 2015 to 2019, ranking 351st in 2019. It also entered the China Private Enterprises Manufacturing Top 500 for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019, ranking 202nd in 2019.

Tianshan Aluminum's ongoing projects, including the annual 500,000-ton prebaked anode carbon project in Alar, Xinjiang, and the 2.5 million-ton alumina project in Jingxi, Guangxi, are concrete measures to actively respond to and implement the central government's targeted poverty alleviation initiative, making significant contributions to promoting social stability and economic development in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the Corps, and the old revolutionary areas, ethnic minority areas, border areas, and impoverished areas.
