Chongqing Western Logistics Park

Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park was established in September 2007 by decision of the 40th Mayor's Office Meeting, with a planned area of 35.5 square kilometers. It is an inland bonded international logistics hub park established relying on the Tuanjiecun Railway Container Center Station and the Xinglongchang Extra-large Railway Marshalling Station. It is the origin and starting station of the China-Europe Railway Express (Chongqing) and the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, and the location of the Chongqing Railway Port and the Railway Bonded Logistics Center. It is the railway logistics base in the "Three Bases and Three Port Areas" logistics master plan approved by the National Development and Reform Commission for Chongqing. It is a national service standardization pilot park, one of the first batch of demonstration logistics parks nationwide, one of the first batch of key logistics parks in the city, and has won the title of National Excellent Logistics Park four times.
As Chongqing advances the "Belt and Road" Initiative in depth, the park was fully incorporated into the scope of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project in 2015, successfully opening up the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, and was upgraded in 2017 to the core section of the Xiyong Area of the China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, undertaking the core task of exploring land trade rules as the city's "Free Trade Zone on Rails".
