Chongqing Zhongda Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd.

Chongqing Zhongda Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd. (Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Center of Chongqing University) was formerly known as Sichuan Provincial Construction Engineering Quality Supervision and Inspection Station II. It was applied for by the former Chongqing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture and recommended by the Sichuan Provincial Construction Committee. In 1990, it passed the inspection institution review and metrological accreditation of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Standard Measurement and Metrology, becoming the first provincial-level supervision and inspection institution of construction engineering among universities nationwide and in Chongqing to pass metrological accreditation. After Chongqing became a municipality directly under the Central Government, with the approval of the Chongqing Municipal Construction Committee, it was renamed the Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Center of Chongqing Jianzhu University. On November 1, 2005, with funding from Chongqing University, the Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Center of Chongqing University was registered and established with industry and commerce, becoming an independent legal entity. In December 2014, it was restructured and renamed Chongqing Zhongda Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd. In 2021, Chongqing Zhongda Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd. absorbed and merged with Chongqing Youbang Fire Inspection Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Zhongda Environmental Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., and completed the absorption and merger work in May 2021. The company has established approximately 27 production departments.
