(formerly known as Jianyan Technology Co., Ltd.) is a high-tech enterprise in the construction industry, established through the shareholding reform of the Building Structure Research Institute of the China Academy of Building Research, jointly initiated by the China Academy of Building Research, in collaboration with China State Construction International Construction Co., Ltd., China Architecture Design & Research Group, Shanghai Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., and East China Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. The registered capital is RMB 54.5583 million. The business scope includes: research, development, and sales of computer software, hardware, and peripherals; architectural engineering design and construction; technology development, technical services, technology transfer, technical consulting, and technical training; construction drawing review; research, development, production, and sales of building materials and products and equipment; and self-operated and agent import and export of various commodities and technologies.

The Building Structure Research Institute is one of the earliest research institutes established under the China Academy of Building Research, dating back to 1953. Over the decades, it has been dedicated to solving key technical problems in the field of building structures, responsible for compiling major standards and specifications in the field, and undertaking a large number of key national and ministerial scientific and technological development projects. Through the unremitting efforts of several generations of scientific and technical personnel, it has completed 467 various scientific research projects, compiled 60 standards and specifications, won 25 National Natural Science Awards, National Invention Awards, and National Science and Technology Progress Awards, 114 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards, and obtained 42 patents, establishing its leading position in the field of engineering structures in China. CABR Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on the development of construction industry software and the research, development, and application of new technologies and new products for the construction industry. It possesses world-leading technologies and products in areas such as CAD software for architectural design and construction, high-rise building structures, prestressing, large-span spatial structures, steel structures, mechanical connections of steel bars, structural testing, and structural evaluation and diagnosis, and continues to lead the compilation of multiple specifications and standards in related fields. It also has a comprehensive structural testing system with complete facilities. Among the current 968 employees, there are 916 professional technical personnel, 80 researchers (professor-level senior engineers), and 93 senior engineers. More than 90% of employees hold bachelor's degrees, including 5 postdoctoral fellows, 33 Ph.D. holders, and 189 master's degree holders.
