Huadian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huadian Heavy Industry" or "the Company") is the core business segment and capital operation platform of China Huadian Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huadian Engineering"), and an important part of the science and technology industry of China Huadian Corporation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Group Corporation"). The Company was established in December 2008 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in December 2014. At present, the total share capital of the Company is 1.155 billion shares, of which Huadian Engineering holds 729 million shares, representing a shareholding ratio of 63.13%, and the shareholding ratios of other shareholders are all below 3%. The main business of Huadian Heavy Industry is the system design, core equipment R&D and manufacturing, and EPC general contracting of material conveying engineering, thermal energy engineering, high-end steel structure engineering, offshore wind power engineering, and industrial noise control engineering, providing users with overall solutions for engineering systems. The Company's business covers electric power, coal, petrochemical, mining, metallurgy, ports, water conservancy, building materials, urban construction, and other fields, and some products and systems have been exported to Southeast Asia, Australia, and other countries and regions. Huadian Heavy Industry is a "National High-Tech Enterprise" and an "Enterprise of the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone's Ten-Hundred-Thousand Project". It has won 12 national and industry engineering construction quality awards, and its "Large Bulk Material Loading, Unloading, and Conveying Complete Equipment" has been ranked among the high-quality brands of China's machinery industry. The National Power Investment Binhai North H1#100MW offshore wind power project contracted by the Company won the National Quality Engineering Gold Award. The Company possesses 27 Class A design and manufacturing licenses, including for material handling and warehousing engineering, and holds 523 authorized patents, including 86 invention patents. It has received 102 various scientific and technological awards, including 54 at the provincial and ministerial level. The Company has ten functional departments, one R&D and technology management center, four business divisions, four manufacturing subsidiaries, and five branch companies. The Company currently has 2,409 employees, including 915 at the headquarters and 1,494 in subsidiaries.
