Spacety Co., Ltd is a SAR satellite constellation operator, adhering to the mission of "making space within reach", focusing on providing cost-effective SAR constellation construction and SAR satellite data services. Its satellite achievements have been published multiple times in the international journal Nature, and it has taken the lead in achieving mass production, networking, and in-orbit commercial operation of domestic commercial SAR satellites.
Spacety settled in Changsha High-tech Zone, Hunan Province in January 2016, and officially became a member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in September 2017. In the 6 years since its establishment, it has completed 14 space missions and successfully launched a total of 25 satellites, including China's first commercial SAR remote sensing satellite "Haisi-1" and China's first commercial networked SAR remote sensing satellite "Chaohu-1", filling the gap in China's commercial SAR remote sensing satellites and achieving the highest resolution of international lightweight small C-band commercial SAR satellites, making Spacety the third commercial SAR remote sensing satellite operating company globally after ICEYE and Capella.
To date, Spacety has provided tens of thousands of satellite remote sensing images to multiple ministries including the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Natural Resources, as well as relevant international organizations such as the United Nations, helping to build global emergency and security systems.
The core members of the Spacety research team are composed of several senior aerospace experts who have previously participated in hundreds of manned spaceflight, satellite, and spacecraft development, flight control, and large-scale software system design as chief technical officers and chief designers; other members are also composed of doctoral and master's degree holders from domestic and international universities in satellite overall design, electronics, navigation, communications, software and other majors, with rich work experience in related fields.
