Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Founded in 1962, the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, evolving from the Xujiahui and Sheshan Observatories, is a comprehensive astronomical research institution directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
