CITIC Xiangya Reproductive and Genetic Hospital Co., Ltd.

CITIC Xiangya Reproductive and Genetic Hospital is a modern large-scale mixed-ownership specialized reproductive and genetic hospital jointly established by CITIC Group, Central South University, and Professor Lu Guangxiu's research team. It is also the first specialized hospital in China approved by the Ministry of Health to fully implement human assisted reproductive technology (including human sperm bank) and a *tertiary reproductive and genetic specialized hospital. In 2017, it was awarded the National Advanced Collective of the Health and Family Planning System and won the First Hunan Innovation Award.
The hospital is one of the first national training bases for human assisted reproductive technology and human sperm bank technology, one of the first prenatal diagnosis institutions in China to carry out pilot clinical application of high-throughput gene sequencing prenatal screening and diagnosis, one of the first assisted reproductive institutions in China to carry out pilot clinical application of high-throughput gene sequencing preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and one of the construction units of the National Gene Testing Technology Application Demonstration Center.
