AVIC Institute of Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. was renamed from the AVIC Institute of Geotechnical Engineering and Surveying in April 2010, with the new company inheriting all personnel, qualifications, resources, and debts of its predecessor. Our institute currently employs 385 staff, including 1 survey master, 16 researchers, 92 with senior professional titles, 126 with intermediate titles, and 79 with junior titles. In 1997, we were honored as an advanced unit in national engineering survey; in 1998, we passed ISO9000 quality system certification; and in 1999, we ranked among the top 100 survey and design institutions nationwide. Holding Class A qualifications for comprehensive engineering survey and surveying and mapping, we are capable of undertaking GPS control surveys, engineering surveys for roads, water conservancy, pipelines, and routes, completion surveys, real estate mapping, cadastral mapping, deformation and displacement monitoring, digital mapping, aerial photogrammetry, geographic information system construction, and more. We have completed nearly 10,000 surveying projects covering national infrastructure, industry, urban construction, and other fields, including large bases, Asian Games venues, Olympic venues, residential communities, central government institutions in Beijing, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia natural gas transmission to Beijing, civil airports, highways, municipal roads, and urban rail transit, possessing rich surveying experience and strong technical talent.
