School Introduction
Wuhan Foreign Language School Meijia Campus is a modern boarding school directly under the Wuhan Municipal Education Bureau, invested by Simic Meijia Group and established in cooperation with Wuhan Foreign Language School. Located in the hinterland of Optics Valley, by the shore of Tangxun Lake, the school covers an area of 160 mu with a total investment of RMB 160 million. It has a building area of over 70,000 square meters and a high-standard sports field. The school currently offers primary, junior high, and senior high education, with more than 3,500 students. The educational philosophy that integrates Chinese and Western cultures, along with a rigorous and pragmatic school atmosphere, has earned the school a good social reputation. The school has been rated as the "Second National Model School for Foreign Language Teaching and Research in Primary and Secondary Schools" and the "Advanced Unit for Implementing the Project of Strengthening Class Teacher Construction in Wuhan Primary and Secondary Schools." For six consecutive years, it has been awarded the "Merit Award" for private education teaching quality by the education administrative department. It has been rated by the Wuhan Municipal Education Bureau as a "Wuhan Mass-Satisfied Primary and Secondary School." The school has been selected as one of the first batch of schools in the Sino-US "Thousand Schools Hand in Hand" project by the Ministry of Education. In 2015, it served as a co-organizer of the "Meijia Cup" CCTV "Star of Hope" English Talent Competition, and as a venue for the "Chucai Cup" composition contest in 2015.

The school specially hires Wudang martial arts masters to teach Wudang internal martial arts, aiming to improve students' physical fitness while cultivating their self-reliance, perseverance, and tolerance. In cooperation with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it has jointly established the first "Nature School" for primary and secondary schools in Hubei Province. Through this "Nature School," the school conducts research-based learning and science activities themed on "water environment" protection, enabling students to develop independent inquiry skills and broaden their horizons through environmental protection practices.
The school has introduced an American high school curriculum to establish an international high school directly aligned with European and American education. The school has signed cooperation agreements with the University of California, Irvine (UCI), the University of California, Riverside (UCR), the University of Wisconsin-Platteville (UW-Platteville), and other prestigious universities in Australia, Canada, and other places. School Leadership
Xiao Yongrui, Chairman of Wuhan Foreign Language School Meijia Campus. She studied under the Chinese studies master Mr. Nan Huai-chin for more than 30 years. She graduated from Pace University in New York, USA, with an MBA degree. She held senior banking and management positions at renowned securities companies on Wall Street, including Prudential Bache Securities, Merrill Lynch, and Chase Manhattan Bank. Currently, she serves as the President of Simic Meijia Group and Chairman of Wuhan Foreign Language School Meijia Campus. She is also Vice President of the Hubei Overseas Friendship Association, Vice President of the Wuhan Overseas Friendship Association, Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Branch of the Wuhan Western Returned Scholars Association, and Executive Vice President of the Wuhan Association of Taiwan-invested Enterprises.
Yan Huaxing, Principal of Wuhan Foreign Language School Meijia Campus, Honorary Principal of Wuhan Foreign Language School, Special-grade English Teacher, Outstanding Expert of Wuhan, Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Hubei Province, and Outstanding Educator of Hubei Province. He enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council and has profound attainments in English teaching research and educational evaluation. He has publicly published more than 40 works and over 20 papers. He edited the nationally compiled English textbook "Comprehensive English Course" for foreign language schools, which was approved by the National Textbook Review Committee for Primary and Secondary Schools and is used as the main textbook in more than 100 foreign language schools nationwide. Yan Huaxing served as the principal of Wuhan Foreign Language School for 15 years. He proposed a twelve-character educational policy of "foreign language features, equal emphasis on liberal arts and sciences, and international cooperation," opened a "green channel" for introducing special-grade teachers, carried out a "Sunrise Project" to cultivate young teachers, and guided the establishment of more than 30 school-based courses, ensuring a correct school atmosphere and first-class quality, creating the "Wuhan Foreign Language School phenomenon" of producing 13 provincial top scorers in the college entrance examination and an undergraduate admission rate of over 90% for first-tier universities. At the end of 2006, Principal Yan Huaxing "transferred" to a private school, beginning a journey to create new glory for Meijia Campus. He led all faculty and staff to work diligently, making Wuhan Foreign Language School Meijia Campus a model of private education in the Wuhan area with a good reputation and credibility.
