In September 2008, Hubei United Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. was born at the historic moment when the Wuhan City Circle "Two-Oriented" Society Comprehensive Supporting Reform Pilot Zone was approved. As a large provincial state-owned holding company, LIANT投 Group has the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commissions of Hubei Province and the nine cities of the Wuhan City Circle as its main investors, and six central enterprises within the province (WISCO Group, Dongfeng Motor, Gezhouba Group, Three Gorges Group, Hubei China Tobacco, Hubei Tobacco) as shareholders. The company has a registered capital of 4.328 billion yuan.

  In December 2021, according to the provincial state-owned assets and state-owned enterprise reform plan, Hubei LIANT投 Group Co., Ltd. was established, positioned as "a full-life-cycle operator of science and technology parks, industrial parks, and functional parks, a comprehensive service provider for the entire industrial chain of urban renewal, and a general contractor for the entire field of engineering construction," and committed to being "a promoter of scientific and technological innovation, a driver of industrial development, a builder of urban renewal, and a demonstrator of industry-finance integration."

 The Group's specific business operations cover industrial new cities, park operations, real estate development, industrial finance, digital industry, infrastructure and new infrastructure, and other fields. Its total assets amount to 300 billion yuan, driving social investment of over 300 billion yuan, with more than 20,000 employees. It controls one listed company and holds shares in two listed companies, with a total of more than 20,000 employees. Four enterprises have been rated AAA in entity credit. It was selected as the first member representative of the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors in Hubei Province, ranking 354th among China's Top 500 Enterprises and 128th among China's Top 500 Service Enterprises.

Facing the new stage and new pattern, Hubei LIANT投 fully implements Hubei Province's regional development layout of "one main leader, two wings driven, and coordinated development across the region," focuses on the core areas of the Wuhan City Circle, Wuhan-Ezhou integration, and the Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, and supports the development of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration, the Xiangyang-Shiyan-Suizhou-Shennongjia urban agglomeration, and the Yichang-Jingzhou-Jingmen-Enshi urban agglomeration.
