Hubei Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. of PowerChina (hereinafter referred to as the Company), formed through the merger and restructuring of Hubei Electric Power Construction * Engineering Company and Hubei Electric Power Construction Second Engineering Company, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PowerChina Hubei Engineering Co., Ltd. and an important member enterprise of Fortune Global 500 PowerChina in the Central South region. The Company is the earliest established electric power construction enterprise in the Central South region of China, with a glorious history of nearly 70 years. The Company is a general contractor for electric power engineering and infrastructure engineering. Its main business includes construction engineering of various power plants (stations), operation, inspection and maintenance engineering of power plants (stations), 750 kV and below power transmission and transformation engineering, infrastructure and water environment engineering, new energy engineering, etc. Within the relevant business scope, the Company possesses complete qualifications and strong capabilities, with excellent resource allocation and coordination ability, construction organization ability, and service guarantee ability. The Company is the first electric power construction enterprise in China to go abroad, with rich experience in overseas project operations. Since 1983, when the Company undertook the Pakistan power station construction project, it has expanded its overseas business to nearly 40 countries, with partners across more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.
