(abbreviated as "City Investment Investment Company"), established on September 30, 2013, is a state-owned joint venture company jointly established by Guangzhou City Investment Group and Guangzhou Industrial Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., based on the strategic deployment of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to accelerate the establishment of Guangzhou as a regional financial center and to promote the transformation and upgrading of Guangzhou Urban Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. Since its inception, under the correct leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and with strong support from shareholders, the company has experienced rapid business development, covering fixed income, equity investment, fund management, financial leasing, micro-loans, and other business areas. The company has a registered capital of 2.25 billion RMB and total assets exceeding 10 billion RMB. The company owns two Hong Kong investment subsidiaries, two financial leasing subsidiaries, one fund management subsidiary, one micro-loan company, and holds stakes in two fund management companies. It has become the fourth largest shareholder of Bohai Capital Holding Investment Co., Ltd. (000415.SZ) listed on the main board of China, and the single largest shareholder of Shenzhou Holdings (00861.HK) listed on the main board of Hong Kong.
