Samsung SDI Xi'an Power Battery Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Samsung Group of Korea, Anqing Huanxin Group Co., Ltd. of Anhui Province, and Xi'an Gaoke (Group) Company. On June 18, 2014, the Reform and Commerce Bureau of Xi'an High-tech Zone issued the "Reply of Xi'an High-tech Reform and Commerce Bureau on Approving the Establishment of Sino-foreign Joint Venture Samsung SDI Xi'an Power Battery Co., Ltd." (Xi'an Xin Fa Shang Fa [2014] No. 158), and Samsung SDI Xi'an Power Battery Co., Ltd. was established. The company is engaged in the development, manufacturing, processing, and sales of lithium-ion power battery cells and modules for automobiles, with main products being automotive power batteries with capacities of 94Ah, 37Ah, and 120Ah, widely applied in the new energy vehicle industry. The product technology is independently developed by Samsung SDI, and similar product factories have been built in Korea and Tianjin, China. The company has established a dedicated project construction team, capable of handling key work stages including project construction, development, production, and technical management (such as production line construction and product design development, preparation of technical documents, organization of technical training, product quality control documents and standards, procurement and testing standards for raw and auxiliary materials, market development and product marketing, etc.). Currently, the company's main customers include BMW, Volkswagen, Daimler, and renowned domestic automobile manufacturers in China.
