Guangzhou Hongxiang Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (also known as Respirator Home) was established in 2014 and is one of the earliest national high-tech enterprises in China dedicated to the independent research and development of pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehabilitation technology, and sensors. It has passed major domestic and international product quality certifications and intellectual property certifications, and has established a comprehensive system from design, research and development, production to service. It provides a full-process solution for pulmonary function screening, diagnosis, rehabilitation, big data, and home patient management for medical institutions both at home and abroad. Respirator Home currently has more than 60 employees, of which over 80% are R&D personnel. To date, 9 products have obtained domestic medical device registration certificates, 3 products have obtained U.S. FDA medical device registration certificates, and 1 product has obtained the European CE medical device registration certificate. It has obtained more than 70 intellectual property rights, including 5 published invention patents and 1 authorized; and more than 30 awards and honors at various levels, including 7 competition championships. While continuously exploring, Respirator Home has conducted clinical and scientific research collaborations with top domestic medical institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital, West China Hospital, and Xiangya Hospital. During this period, it has participated in multiple national key project R&D initiatives, and in 2018, it served as the lead unit for a key special R&D project of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2020, its products were selected for the national "List of Urgently Needed Medical Equipment for the Prevention and Control of the COVID-19 Epidemic." It launched the world's first intelligent portable spirometer, and was the designated manufacturer for the National Health Commission's "Happy Breathing" project. The device has obtained FDA/CE certification, and its products are exported to Europe, the Americas, and other Asian countries. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a unit undertaking key R&D projects under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
