GEM (Wuhan) New Energy Vehicle Service Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of GEM Co., Ltd. The company officially commenced operations in June 2016, located in Wuhan Green Valley. It has established a smart manufacturing demonstration production line for power battery packs and a demonstration production line for echelon utilization of retired power batteries, aiming to build a leading enterprise in Central China integrating production, R&D, sales, and service of new energy vehicle power battery packs (systems).
Inheriting GEM's industrial philosophy of "Limited Resources, Infinite Recycling," the company has partnered with Dongfeng, Samsung, BYD, and other enterprises to create a closed-loop circular system covering the entire industrial chain of "materials, batteries, automotive power battery systems, new energy vehicle manufacturing, supply chain finance, and power battery recycling."
The GEM Automotive Power Battery Recycling Engineering Research Center built by the company is equipped with advanced software and hardware facilities, and comprises a power battery system R&D laboratory and a power battery recycling laboratory. Through the establishment of advanced laboratories, the company will actively explore and implement the echelon utilization model of reverse disassembly, secondary sorting, and re-assembly production, developing into a high-tech enterprise focusing on chemistry, materials, mechanical automation, vehicle engineering, and lithium battery new energy.
