Wuhan Dongfeng Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongfeng Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. It was approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China in 1993 to be established as a Class B supervision unit, and in 2003 was approved by the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China to be promoted to a dual-Class A supervision unit (Class A supervision for building construction engineering, Class A supervision for mechanical and electrical installation engineering, and Class B supervision for municipal public works engineering). It is the earliest supervision enterprise in northwestern Hubei to obtain dual-Class A qualifications. The company is a council member unit of the Hubei Provincial Construction Supervision Association and an executive council member unit of the Wuhan Construction Supervision Association. In 2010, the company passed certification for its quality management system, environmental management system, and occupational health and safety management system.
