Ø Our UDG United Design International
Since its establishment in 1996, UDG United Design International has experienced the entire development process of contemporary Chinese design enterprises. Under the historical opportunity of great social and economic changes in China, Chinese design enterprises have also undergone an unimaginable transformation process. Typically, an international design enterprise takes forty to fifty years to reach a certain scale of growth and development, but Chinese design enterprises have achieved this in just over ten years.
During these ten years, starting from Shanghai, United Design International has grown from a single person to 2,500 people today, evolving into a large-scale comprehensive design enterprise group with an annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan. Especially in the short span of five years from 2005 to 2010, the company grew tenfold, standing out from over 2,000 design companies in Shanghai and ranking first among private design enterprises in Shanghai for five consecutive years, as well as ranking high nationally.
Looking back, we are a fortunate generation. Over a decade ago, the macro environment was highly conducive to entrepreneurship, and industry competition was still at a very preliminary stage. Success could be achieved by doing one thing right. We are glad that when we climbed the mountain, there was no one at the top; as long as we climbed faster and more focused than others, we could reach the summit.
