On April 9, 1996, approved by the Securities Commission of the State Council under Document Zhengquanfa [1996] No. 7, the Company issued 1,431,300,000 overseas listed foreign shares ("H Shares") to the overseas public. On May 14, 1996, the Company's shares were listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the New York Stock Exchange.
On December 19, 2006, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission under Document Zhengjianfaxingzi [2006] No. 146, the Company publicly issued 2,747,987,000 RMB ordinary shares ("A Shares"), which were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on December 22, 2006.
