CNMC Group

China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "CNMC Group", English abbreviation "CNMC"), established in 1983, is a large central enterprise managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Its main businesses include: development of nonferrous metal mineral resources, construction engineering, related trading, and technical services; it owns two listed companies in China: NFC (000758) and Oriental Tantalum (000962). It is a pioneer among Chinese enterprises in implementing the "going global" strategy and conducting international investment and cooperation in the field of nonferrous metal mineral resources. CNMC Group has established a nonferrous metal mineral resource development layout of a certain scale in neighboring countries, central and southern Africa, and countries and regions with developed mining capital. It possesses overseas heavy nonferrous metal resources of 10 million tons and bauxite resources exceeding 300 million tons; it is currently tracking nearly 80 million tons of heavy nonferrous metal resources and 2 billion tons of bauxite resources, making it the Chinese enterprise with the largest investment and cooperation in overseas nonferrous mining.
