The Group headquarters has 16 departments, with 14 wholly-owned or controlled subsidiaries and 24 shareholding enterprises in railway projects and upstream/downstream sectors, with total consolidated assets exceeding 370 billion yuan. To implement the instructions of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government on independently operating intercity railways within the province and to promote the 'four-network integration' of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Group established Guangdong Intercity Rail Transit Operation Co., Ltd. in January 2025. The operation company is fully responsible for the operation preparation and independent operation of lines such as the Eastern Guangdong Intercity Railway and the Jiehui Railway. Meanwhile, under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Transportation, the Group is currently building a provincial-level command platform to further enhance the safety assurance and organizational efficiency of the province's self-operated railways.
