Guangdong Silk Textile Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Silk Textile Group") was established in 1952, formerly known as "China Silk Company Guangdong Branch". In December 2019, Guangdong Silk Textile Group merged with Guangxin Holdings Group, with Guangxin Group becoming the new entity after the merger. After the restructuring, the Silk Textile Group aims to build a platform-based industrial investment enterprise, seizing the opportunities of systematically restructuring main business sectors, organizational structure, talent teams, and institutional mechanisms, accelerating transformation and development, continuously optimizing investment and capital layout, focusing on developing three major business segments: new-type trade, biomedicine and big health, and cocoon and silk, forming a "2+1" main business development pattern, positioning itself as a "leading foreign trade platform operator in the Bay Area, new-type trade service provider, health industry investment operator, and leading cocoon and silk enterprise", actively promoting main business transformation and industrial upgrading. Since 2020, the Silk Textile Group has focused on increasing business volume across the three main sectors. On one hand, it has continuously advanced industrial research and the implementation and construction of biomedicine, big health, and rural revitalization projects, accelerating professional operations. On the other hand, it has seized the strategic opportunities of the domestic and international "dual circulation" to promote trade transformation and upgrading, integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, and synergistic linkage among main businesses. The main business sectors have achieved results in specialized operations, with revenue from the three main business segments maintaining rapid growth.
