Hunan Boxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in November 2010 and is located at No. 190 Huanlian Road, Changsha National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The company is a national high-tech enterprise and a governing unit of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials. It has established the Hunan Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Silicon Carbide Fibers and Their Composites, the Hunan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Doped Silicon Carbide Fibers and Their Composites, and the Changsha Enterprise Technology Center, and has developed a strong industry-university-research cooperation relationship with Central South University. The company has long been committed to the research, development, and production of advanced new materials and products. It has now formed a series of products including silicon carbide fibers, stealth materials, resin-based composite materials, metal-based composite materials, and ceramic-based composite materials, and has established a product model integrating research and development, production, and sales. It has become one of China's first batch of units to equip foam sandwich structure radar-absorbing materials, and is one of the few private enterprises in the country capable of designing and producing stealth materials and composite structural parts. Founder and Chief Scientist Professor Huang Xiaozhong is a doctoral supervisor at Central South University and the first director of the Institute of Silicon Carbide Fiber Composite Materials.
