China Nuclear Power Operation Technology Corporation, Ltd.

Nuclear Power Institute of China, founded in 1982, is headquartered in Wuhan, Hubei Province, and is a member unit of China National Nuclear Corporation. It is a scientific research institution in China that has long been engaged in nuclear power technology research. In 2007, on this basis, China Nuclear Power Operation Technology Corporation, Ltd. was established, with its headquarters located in East Lake High-tech Development Zone, Wuhan. We are the birthplace of China's first reactor pressure vessel, steam generator, and pressurizer, and we have the capability to provide operation and maintenance technical services for all nuclear power units in China. At present, we have established multiple R&D and production bases in three office areas in Wuhan, branches in Haiyan, Zhejiang; Lianyungang, Jiangsu; Fuqing, Fujian; and Hainan, a project department in Sanmen, Zhejiang, an office in Pakistan, and liaison offices in France, Canada, and other countries.

At present, we have established a technical support and backup system to guarantee the safe operation of national nuclear power facilities, in fields such as nuclear power equipment testing, research and design; nuclear power in-service inspection technology, equipment R&D and implementation; nuclear power key equipment maintenance technology R&D and implementation; aging and life management technology development; nuclear power simulation and simulator R&D; digital nuclear power technology R&D; nuclear power industrial control information and network security technology development; and nuclear power operation management and technical support. We possess million-kilowatt-class technology with fully independent intellectual property rights; the first batch of shared pilot platforms of the National Energy Administration—the "Heat Exchanger Key Performance Test and Verification Platform"; an independently developed full-scope simulator development platform with independent intellectual property rights; and a nondestructive testing base with the most complete facilities and equipment in China.
