Named in 1953, Shanghai Turbine Works is a key large-scale backbone enterprise in the national equipment manufacturing industry and the earliest established steam turbine design and manufacturing base in China, known as the cradle of Chinese steam turbines. Since successfully trial-producing China's first 6,000 kW steam turbine in 1955, the company has successively developed steam turbine units in series such as 50,000 kW, 125,000 kW, 300,000 kW, and 600,000 kW, achieving numerous pioneering milestones in China's steam turbine manufacturing history and making significant contributions to the rapid development of the country's electric power industry. Through a new round of industrial planning, our business covers thermal power, nuclear power, gas turbines, combined cycle steam turbines, industrial steam turbines, special turbomachinery, and retrofit units.
