China Qinghua Xinjiang Energy Group settled in Yining County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang in March 2009. After two years of development, it has established seven wholly-owned subsidiaries in Urumqi, Ili region, and Turpan region of Xinjiang. The Xinjiang Qinghua Coal Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park, located in Yidong Industrial Park, Yining County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, focuses on a coal-to-gas project with an annual output of 5.5 billion cubic meters, complemented by a 600,000-ton coal tar hydrogenation project, a synthetic ammonia project, a comprehensive utilization thermal power plant, and a 2-million-ton fly ash cement project. The total investment in the coal-to-gas project is 27.8 billion yuan. Upon completion and operation, the entire coal-to-natural gas project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 16 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 2.5 billion yuan, and create over 10,000 direct and indirect jobs. Since its establishment, Xinjiang Qinghua Energy Group has adhered to the development principles of sustainable resource development and sustainable ecological environment, vigorously advancing the construction of the coal-to-natural gas project. Due to its rapid project approval and construction speed, it has been praised locally as the "Qinghua Speed" and has received unanimous acclaim from party committees and governments at all levels, including the central government, autonomous region, Ili Prefecture, and Yining County. While accelerating project construction, Xinjiang Qinghua Energy Group actively fulfills its solemn commitment to "remember the trust, live up to expectations, strengthen and expand, and repay society." Since 2009, the group has actively absorbed local college graduates, demobilized and transferred military personnel, and surplus rural labor, effectively alleviating local employment pressure. In August 2009, Qinghua Group invested over 10 million yuan to build a farmers' market and rural roads for Quluhai Township, Yining County. Following the principles of centralized resettlement, unified planning, and phased implementation, it carried out the resettlement project for Kalayagaqi Township, Yining County, with a total investment of 300 million yuan, building new townships with complete facilities and beautiful environments for 660 relocated households, significantly improving the living standards of local farmers and herders.
