Haitong Fund

Founded in April 2003, Haitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. is one of the first Sino-foreign joint venture fund management companies approved for establishment in China.

Starting from August 2003, Haitong has successively raised and established 92 public offering funds. As of December 31, 2020, the scale of public offering fund assets managed by Haitong reached approximately RMB 125.1 billion.

Haitong is one of the first enterprise annuity fund investment managers designated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, and is one of the first fund management companies to obtain qualifications for specific client asset management services. In December 2010, Haitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. was selected by the National Council for Social Security Fund as a domestic entrusted investment manager. In December 2011, Haitong's wholly-owned subsidiary, Haitong Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission for the RQFII (RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor) business qualification, enabling it to raise RMB funds in Hong Kong to invest in domestic securities markets. In September 2012, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission confirmed in an announcement that Haitong Fund is one of the first batch of insurance fund investment managers. In August 2014, Haitong's wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Fucheng Haitong Asset Management Co., Ltd., officially commenced operations, obtaining approval to conduct specific client asset management services. In December 2016, Haitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. was selected by the National Council for Social Security Fund as one of the first batch of basic pension insurance fund investment managers.

In March 2020, Haitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. was awarded the "Golden Bull Award for Progress" at the 17th China Fund Industry Golden Bull Awards by China Securities Journal. In July 2020, Haitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. received the "Golden Fund Award - Fund Management Company for Stock Investment Returns" at the China Fund Industry Golden Fund Awards by Shanghai Securities News. In October 2020, Haitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. was honored with the "2019 Emerging Index Fund Development Company" at the China Fund Industry Yinghua Awards by China Fund News.
