Role & Responsibility:
Implement lead projects: Participation of project relevant meeting: Gathering the project inputs from powertrain, forward distribute to the calibration team members. Start the project in the team. Prepare the tailoring do the tailoring.
Responsible fproject-success/-output within the defined time, quality budget: Leading the project fpowertrain calibration according to the golden rules. Assuring the necessary steps of working process according to the Project Milestones the project plan.
Representing department according to calibration: Provide fast problem-solving decisions fentrepreneurial critical powertrain calibration related field. Especially fbut not limited to issues with high-cost risk, high authority attention safety related topics. Implement establish early warning systems fproblems around powertrain calibration related topics. Support decision making regarding powertrain calibration in related committees.

Technical Qualification:
Academic grade in mechanical electrical engineering
5+ years of experience in powertrain calibration
Deep knowledge of calibration, calibration process engine control
Profound knowledge of quality management, product management

Leadership experience in different projects
Cooperative, analytical working, team spirit, intercultural competence
Strategic entrepreneurial thinking with strong initiative self-reliance
Profound MS-office skills

Brief description of the position:
This position assumes full responsibility fEV/ xEV cooling system components within VCTC as the component FOP (father of parts) reports to the EAF1 (Thermal concept & component development)
Responsible fthe design release of cooling system components in accordance with technical requirements VW process requirements.
Key Tasks:
- Responsible fcooling system components design release, including technical requirements (LAH), math data, design validation& plan
- Responsible fcooling components performance, includes geometry, material, function, performance etc.
- Responsible fall development relevant tasks, like material testing, component level testing, supplier in house simulation& testing , durability testing
- Technical release responsibility fproject milestones release(P/B/BMG/K) according to project timing VW requirements
- Component CAD data generation release, GD&T, DOE, DMU check, component DFM/ DFA feasibility, bill of material(BOM) creation
- Issue solving: testing issues, production problems, after-sales complaints, engineering failure mode identification etc.
-Supplier nomination project management:
- Support the supplier nomination process, evaluate supplier development capabilities, technical concept time plan etc.
- Supplier coordination during whole component development process on design frozen, sample preparation, test plan, release etc.
- Change management (Aeko, AeA, AWE) , generate change requests track status as per project timing
- Evaluate implement changes triggered by design, production, quality, supplier etc.
- Benchmarking analysis fcooling system components, in regards of material, functionality, standards, weight, vehicle performance, material cost analysis
- Cooperation with internal external partners fthe activities above
Qualification skills required fthe position:
1.Bachelor’s degree above, majin mechatronics, power energy engineering, mechanical engineering other related fields.
2.3 years+ work experience in xEV thermal management component development field
3.Experience with project management supplier management experience
4.Familiar with xEV Thermal management system principle, components technical requirement;
5.Familiar with CAD tools like CATIA;
6.Experience on product development lifecycle management;
7.Deep understanding of automotive development processes procedures
8.Proficiency in MS office;
9.Familiar with agile working methods Jira-System is a plus;
10.Fluent English communication skills, German language is a plus;
11.Good communication skills team spirit.

• Powertrain related test monitoring compliance tracking fregional projects, result analysis.
Your Responsibilities:
• You will perform powertrain software project management incl. scope analysis, software planning, time schedules, stakeholder communication, resource risk evaluation
• You will perform regular reporting, harmonization synchronization within Volkswagen Group China act as our interface to the headquarter as well as China joint ventures
• You will track the software project status, identify critical issues escalate within VW Group
• You will develop software timelines based on the project situation, derive necessary next steps communicate to stakeholders
• You will work in international project teams to support powertrain software development
Required Qualification:
• Education: Bacheldegree above
• Work Experience with vehicle control units software development
• Project Experience with HEV & PHEV projects is beneficial
• High degree of problem solving ability independence
• Familiar with project management tools proficient with office SW
• Strong processientationganizational skills required
• Ability to work in international team environment required
• Very good communication skills required
• Powertrain Calibration Know-How is beneficial
• Capabilities in programming are beneficial
